Studios

A studio is its own instrument, below are some preferred depending on budgets and location

Avast Recording
Seattle, WA

The spacious room suits rock production, big bands, large acoustic ensembles, solos, piano combos, classical, choirs, drum tracking, anything that a traditional large recording studio is for! The Yamaha C7 Grand and this room have been a destination for many years. The piano is voiced softer and plays lighter than other C7's; the room supports it along with a band very well. Home to records by Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, so many more.

Absolutely first class studio, yet so comfortable you'll immediately be stress free.

Faust
Prague, CZ

Faust Studios is a recording studio located in the center of Prague, Czech Republic, Europe. Featuring top name analog equipment (including a collection of vintage mics, instruments and amps ) and some of the most vibey rooms in all of central and eastern Europe.

For a while, I was the house engineer here, engineering anything that came through the door and producing artists around Prague and Europe. This will be the most interesting studio you will ever record in, with every instrument you could ever need to make a record. Always happy to be back at Faust.

ExEx Studios
Seattle, WA

ExEx is a secret little (but not so little) space in the funky neighborhood of Fremont. It's a budget, punk rock tinged studio, that gets wonderful sounds that competes with the best of them. Love this place for overdubs and mixing.

Packed with guitars, classic amps, first class mics, lovely pres, a C3 Hammond and high end synths. It has the gear to finish projects. Features a large control room, an iso booth and medium sized drum room that can go from dead to very live in near moments.

Big Fish Recording
San Diego, CA

Big Fish Recording is SoCal classic, located 40 minutes north of San Diego, featuring a remarkable live room, 9' Yamaha Grand and 70's API Console, all the mics and amp you need to make the record of your dreams. Blink-182 did your favorite (or least favorite) record there.
